Fight, scream, yell and make a scene. Research shows that this is the most effective way of avoiding rape. But if your assailant has a weapon use your own judgement. Remember most sexual assaults do not involve weapons.
Go to a hospital emergency room as soon as possible. Do this even if you do not want to press charges. Doctors will collect valuble evidence which will be needed if you later decide to press charges.
Consider going to the police. You can report an assault without acctually pressing charges.
