This page has been designed so I can tell you about some of the things I like.
For example my ten favourite cities, or favourite flavoured wine gums, or favourite sporting venues, or even my top ten Rugby moments
Brian Lima TackleThis tackle is by Brian lima the Centre for Samoa. He is known as the "Chiropractor" because he re-arranges bones! |
The greatest try of all timeI know I may be biased, but this try by Gareth Edwards, is commonly regarded as the greatest try ever scored. It took place in a Barbarians vs New Zealand match at Cardiff, the game was dubbed the fifth test, following the lions only tour win in New Zealand the previous year. |
The Cave manSebastian Chabal is the man of the moment in french rugby. The Cave man is a talismanic figure in the french team and had a great World Cup in 2007. This hit really started putting him on the world rugby map. |
Scott Gibbs greatest momentIn 1999, Wales were homeless. Their new stadium was being built, and they had been exiled to Wembley. England turned up to collect a Grand Slam that day, in their own capital and against Wales. England were winning with about a minute to go, then this happened and it changed forever.... |
Jonah Lomu has arrivedIn 1995 a new sensation hit Rugby - his name was Jonah Lomu. He was 18 stone of muscle and could run 100 metres in about 11 seconds! England played New Zealand in the semi final - Mike Catt got to see just how powerful Lomu was. Unstopable |
That Drop GoalHere is your chance again to see the moment England became world champions in 2003... it was a good drop goal. |
99 CallWhen the british lions toured South Africa in 1974, it was a brutal tour. South Africa were known for their physicality. The Lions were no mugs either and devised the now famous 99 call. "If anyone is in trouble you call 99" The results can be seen for yourself. The Lions with McBridge, Edwards, JPR, and co went on to win a famous tour. |
Henson on Tait2005 was the year Wales came good and won a Grand Slam again. This game against England that year saw the emergence of one Mr Gavin Henson or should that be Mr Charlotte Church! Anyway this was a crunching tackle on Matthew Tait - classic. |
