I was in charge of the distribution of food danated by Europe to the poor people of guatemala.

Laboratory Supervisor, Mediterranean Fly (MOSCAMED)
As a laboratory Supervisor I had to plan, coordinate, supervise, execute and evaluate the activities of the laboratory. I had to elaborate the necessary reports about the activities executed. I had the administration of three airplanes and as a part of the work I had to fly every week to supervise the release of the sterile Mediterranean Fly. I was responsible for the data administration in the laboratory. 1993-1995

Researcher, Institute for Agricultural Sciences and Technology (ICTA) I had to act as a link between ICTA and concerned Institutions for technology transfer. I had to validate the technology generated, design the necessary research to improve the traditional production systems. I had to perform research about silage and trees as forage. 1988-1991

Agricultural Engineer, TACASA, a member of the Philip Morris family.
I was in charge of the technical and financial assistance to tobbacco growers in Chiquimula, Guatemala. 1991 Agricultural Promoter, Guatemalan Agency for Agricultural Services(DIGESA). Among other duties, I was in charge of the administration of an Irrigation System in Asuncion Mita, Jutiapa, Guatemala. 1984-1985

Researcher, Central American Institute for Research in Industrial Technology. To fulfill the requirements to graduate as an Agricultural Engineer I performed research about the levels of chlorinated pesticides in soils in La Nueva Concepcion, Escuintla, Guatemala. 1983-1984

Secondary School teacher. I had to teach Spanish to students of grade 9 at "Colegio Salesiano Don Bosco", in Guatemala. 1981-1982.

PUBLICATIONS

I have several publications in research about the use of silage and trees as forage. ICTA , Guatemala and levels of chlorinated pesticides in soils, St. Charles University of Guatemala. The use of the Sterile Insect Technique in Guatemala, MOSCAMED.
