4. A Treehouse at Mac's Treehouse Camp

We spent four nights at Mac's Treehouse Camp. There are several privately owned acres of the greater National park offering different accomodation type experience to tourist. Mac's Camp is unique with its Tree houses and absence of perimeter fencing and you are likely to encounter one wild life or the other (note: there are no wild cats in that area).

On our arrival a Giraffe was grazing off a tree by the Swimming pool. The nights can be scary, with sounds of the jungle and sometimes an animal rubbing against your tree house. The camp served as our embarkment point each morning to tour the Kruger National Park led by our 'Oyinbo' guide, Jock.
