Found: one wall

Winter arrives just in time for Spring.  We should have been doing this project during January and February when it was nice, dry and warm.

Forms are laid precisely to contain an eight inch concrete wall.  Steel ties keep the forms from moving when concrete is poured inside.  A chalk line marks the exact top of the future concrete wall. Grade nails are partially hammered in along the chalk line so that the location of top of the wall can be seen, even during the mess of pouring concrete (see the bright nails along the left inside of the form).

Lots of steel rebar is anchored to the footing and held in place with "forms ties" to build a strong foundation wall.  The steel and concrete combination is an amazing invention - without this the modern world would not exist.
