Nine men and a pumper
The concrete pumper is run by joy sticks on a wireless remote control. The operator is sometimes over 100' from the truck but can still control the feed and placement of the concrete.
Sergio is "the man" with the business end of the pumper.
The concrete is leveled and finished smooth by hand. A bit of concrete is added or removed to exactly match the level of the grade nails.
Steel anchor bolts are added before the concrete hardens. This allows the wood portion of the house to be securely attached to the concrete walls.
Next up: getting out of the mud and onto the wood structure.
