Arrival In Seoul top of page

Chronic took an economy class seat with Korean Air to Seoul. The Korean lady on its left was very friendly and insisted on giving Chronic a bag to take through Korean customs. What a generous lady. No one in England would be that kind, Chronic thought.
Of course, Chronic was not allowed a rubber glove search, due to internal searches requiring the tearing of the warrantee sticker.
Out the other side of customs, Chronic met a web chum. This web chum had moved to Seoul to over power a school full of powerful computers with the all fatal internet access.

No sleep......drink will help top of page

The time shift from the flight was a substantial 9 hours. When Chronic arrived it was really ready for sleep. Chronic's host web chum was ready for some going out action, but a weary Chronic laid its head down and snored away for an hour.
Later that night, they took to the streets or rather "office blocks". All the shops and bars etc were inside office blocks and poor Chronic had to learn Korean tofigure out which sign meant beer. Soon they were swigging back the Seoul Bitter catching up on stolen experiences since they last met in Budapest.
Next door was an internet room. Hidden away on this, the 4th floor, were late night, spods of the Korean variety. Not as pale and spotty as the English counterparts.
They then moved onto a Soju bar, escorted by an internet fiend from 4th floor. He ordered the drinks and snacks of frozen raw tuna and refused to let the web chums pay. Fair enough, but later, after they had said their goodbyes to the friendly Korean, this internet fiend began to stalk them.
Into a 24/7 mini mart our web chums were followed, where the stalker bought the water and snacks they had selected. Out of the brightly lit shop they were followed and around the series of sky scraper corners the stalking continued. Until they took a left-hand turn at regular walking pace, then shot off as fast as drunkenly possible, through the remaining mazed route to the flat. The stalker was never seen again.
If you meet a male Korean wearing a girlie hair band, hide for your life !!

Piccie 3: A part of the more used (!!) gentleman's quarters.
