Nimbus of Fire
And she's become one of my desires
That burns my soul like a candle flame
I'm warmed by this nimbus of fire
As her beauty coils around me and i am swathed

And I look into her eyes
I become so poignant and depressed
As if my heart is missing
Due to a break in and a theft

I opened myself
But she never came
Locked within a slumber
She caused me some delay
I felt my heart
Pause within it's beats
And the usual cadence
Was lost with fluttering of wings

And she's become one of my desires
That burns my soul like a blaze
I'm warmed by the fever
She's got me in a wonderous daze

And I look into her eyes
I've become so distressing and overcast
As if my heart was missing.
Oh, I only see her reflection in my heart made of glass

I opened myself
But she turned away
Locked within a world
Where I'm erased
I felt my heart
Crumble into dust
As I was consumed
By my lust.

And your reflection is all I can see in my heart of glass.
