Dear Samantha,

People say I'm paranoid. How can I not be with everything that's happened? And now this new partner. A scientist. What am I going to do with a scientist? So much of what I see isn't able to be compartmentalized and this woman is going to try. There's no chance that she'll be open to any of my ideas. I haven't met her yet but I already know this person I'm being forced to work with. Stuffy, by the book, arrogant about her science. She's rewritten Einstein for God's sake. I have to believe this Dana Scully is part of the bigger agenda. What better way to shut down the X-files than to have a scientist come in and debunk all of my work.

It may have been my search for you that fueled my passion but there are genuine paranormal things that happen everyday that need to be investigated as well. The X files help me do that. They are trying to shut me down and this Agent Scully is there latest tool. She has to be. I can't imagine anyone pissing off the higher ups to get assigned to this as punishment. Only I'm that good.
