Frankenbok

Aaron Butler - guitar
Hutch - vocals, keyboards
Scott Lang - guitar
Tim Miedecke - bass
Mick Morley - drums

Label Status: Faultline Records
Vibe: modern metal
Where & When: Frankenbok are playing with Dreadnaught and The Wolves this Friday 3 December at the Greyhound.
Elaboration: With the release of their debut album this summer through Faultline Records, Frankenbok are performing around Melbourne and tearing new assholes for one and all. They play a modern style of metal music (Slipknot, Strapping Young Lad, Ricky Martin, etc), spiced with classic elements of blues, groove and some shit you ain't never heard before. Frankenbok have been busy writing songs with their new recruit Mr. Morley who successfully completed the boot camp after dismembering all opposition. Since winning the Goo uncovered sessions at the Metro, future recordings and releases are being planned as well as gigs here, there and everywhere. With Superheist's DW Norton helping in recording, wheelin' and dealin' and wielding some record industry muscle, Frankenbok are finally getting their musical poison injected into the Melbourne scene and beyond.
The Name: Nobody ever seems to get Frankenbok's name correct. It's okay, they'll settle for Frankenslut or Frankenfurter, whatever, when you see Frankensomething printed anywhere it's most likely them.
Beware.
