A Simple Talisman

This simple little spell can be used for protection, to bring love, insight, or just about anything. You'll need a stone, an herb or oil, paint and a symbol or rune. First, pick out your stone, herb/oil, paint colour and symbol/rune in accordance to what you want. If this were to be for protection you might use smokey quartz, basil, white paint and the rune algiz. Rub the stone with the herb/oil and concentrate your energy into the stone. If it's for protection, for example, concetrate on sending a safe, content feeling into the stone. When you're satisfied that the talisman is at work, seal it by painting the rune/symbol on it. After the paint dries, it's ready to go where you do.
