God of War and of Justice. He is the most powerful of the Gods of Man. |
Deltara |
The Goddess of Birth and Death. She is nearly as powerful as her twin brother, Illuvitar. |
Moradin |
Dwarven God of Metalwork, The Maker, All-Forger, Battle-Forger, Flame of the Eternal Forge, The Righteous Hammer. He is the forger of weapons and armor for the gods, and the craftsman of gold and silver treasure. Moradin's story is also tied closely with that of the Dwarven creation myth, wherein lesser gods imprison Moradin and try to use his Eternal Forge, until he breaks out of captivity and exacts justice for the disastrous effects their misuse of the Great Forge have caused. Moradin is associated with Hizagkuur, a strange white metal found only in the Great Rift to which the secrets of smithying have been lost. Moradin's symbol is a black iron warhammer superimposed on a white anvil of hizagkuur. |

Najela, Sarr |
The Mother of the Gods. She gave birth to all the other Gods and is the creator and protector of all nature. She is more powerful than any other single God. Sarr is the elven name for this Goddess. |

The Dark Gods | These Gods created the demonic and evil wild creatures. Their power feeds on pain, suffering and the taking of innocent life. The names of all the Dark Gods end in "dur" or "dura". |
Jorandur |
Most powerful of the Dark Gods, he is also known as Father of Demons. |
Silindur |
Leader of the Dark Gods during the God's War. It is said he was slain by Illuvitar. Those of the Assisins Cult worship him, and wear the sign of the spider. |
