For those of us playing LucasArts' X-Wing game in an
on-line community setting such as the Rebel
Squadrons, narrative mission reports are a requirement.
Some solitary players like to keep track of mission results and statistics for posterity. In either case, the X-Wing Mission Reporter (XMR) automates the process of generating mission reports for LucasArts' X-Wing game. It handles the statistics gathering and reporting process, and provides a rudimentary editor for composing mission narratives. It supports multiple supplied and customizable scoring templates that allow the user to change the point values, and even the names of the different kinds of ships from the game. It also supports emailing reports with the plt file attached through most MAPI compliant email programs. |

Okay, here are the different versions of the files that are available.
Due to bandwidth restrictions, my project downloads are not stored on this site, but in the files section of my YahooGroup. If you want to know about any new projects or versions I release, then subscribe to it. Whenever I release something, I'll let the group know, and you can join in on discussions as well. It's pretty low-traffic so far, but if you ONLY want the official announcements from yours truly, you can always choose the "Only Special Announcements" message delivery option.
I have had reports that some users have had difficulty with the above links. This seems to be a problem with YahooGroups, and is easily worked around by going to the index for the group's files section, and downloading the files from there.

v1.0.0:
02/07/01 v0.9.12: Initial beta release.
At this point, most everything I've wanted to do with the reporter is done. I have no desire to write a full-blown word processor or WYSIWYG HTML editor, and the editor is pretty functional as it is. I'm always open to suggestions, though.
