This is a separate story!!! I hope you like it! This is the only chapter. but I thought it would fit to send this now, as this takes place on Anne and Al's wedding night. "Can you believe this?" Al asked, as he repositioned his arm around his wife. Wife...wow, he thought. It was hard to fancy that he would have a wife again. "We're married!" Anne contently settled into Al's embrace. "I know, it's truly amazing, how we've both been blessed with this second chance." Al looked at her and couldn't decide if he wanted to kiss her or continue talking. Decisions ,decisions. Of course one little kiss wouldn't hurt, but after all, this was their wedding night. It didn't matter that they'd already enjoyed their first -and second- intimacies as husband and wife. So one little kiss would probably lead to another, then another. Mind you, this was not a bad thing. He kissed her, but she broke away a little bit sooner than he'd wanted her to. Apparantly she wanted to talk. "You do realize how blessed we are don't you?" She looked at him. "I'm so blessed to have this amazing, beautiful, and , dare I say it, sexy woman in bed with me!" "Al!" Her, sexy? Even though she acted embarrassed inwardly she was thrilled. Anne Metc...Anne Kahn was sexy. She smiled, and he noticed. Imagine that! He thought she was sexy! Not to mention the low tone of voice that he said that with.....he was pretty sexy as well. "You're the sexiest woman I've ever seen, that's for damn sure." He started kissing her shoulder. But all of a sudden she felt self contious, it had been so long for her. So very long .... Maybe he was just sweet talking her. So she brushed him off, away from her, ashamed that she actually believed for a minute that she was sexy. He was just saying that. "What's wrong honey?" He asked, getting back to kissing her shoulders. "Will you stop that?" "I thought you liked this. You didn't complain earlier..." he kept going. She didn't know how to answer, but her not so well hidden smile told him all he needed to know. But he stopped kissing her suddenly. And so she felt even more self contious. Heck, she hasn't felt this awkward since her wedding night to Stephen..when she was barely an adult. "Anne Kahn...i want to thank you for marrying me." He said with love, devotion, and sincerity. He could sense her unease, and he wasn't quite sure what was going on. He figured it might have to do with her Catholic background and her inhabitations about sex. "Well you're welcome." She smiled at him, amazed at his sensitivity. Well that is until he opened his mouth again to speak. "Do you feel bad about the fact that we've just had almost two hours of amazing...." "Al!" "Well?" . Honestly...the thought never crossed her mind to feel guilty. "No I don't." She admitted without hesitation. "God I love you!" He kissed her lips. "Thank you." "What was that for?" She asked, delighted at his attention. "Because you just gave me the best compliment a guy could recieve." "What do you mean? I'm afraid you've lost me.." Al turned over to lie on his side, and she followed suit, so they were both facing each other. "What I mean to say, is that I was afraid you would feel guilty about the wonderful way we've just made love to each other, because of your Catholic upbringing." "Al." She sighed. "Do you have to bring that up now...?" "Let me finish. What I mean to say is that it would be understandable if you were feeling that way. Not easy for me to deal with, but understandable. No disrespect for your beliefs at all. In fact, that's why it's a compliment. You just told me that you didn't feel guilty at all. So that means hopefully I've made you feel comfortable, that you trust me." Anne's eyes filled with tears. "I do trust you Al. More than you know. I didn't want to mention my late husband today...but I have been thinking about him." "oh." He turned around, feeling hurt. "But, " she leaned against his back, holding him tight. "I've been thinking about how much more respect you treat me with. You make me feel beautiful, young...and loved." The simplicity of the sentence stood out to Al; he realized just how important those things were to her. |
