> She looked towards the window.  She knew that he was just trying to
make her feel better.  "Jeff, I'm sorry.  I'm just tired.  Will you
stay with me?"  Jeff looked at her and said, "of course," and they
both layed down on the bed.  Jeff stared up at the ceiling while
Ginger fell asleep with her head and hand on his chest.

Jeff suddenly woke up.  Ginger was still sleeping.  He tried to get
up but his arm was still around Ginger and he didn't want to wake her
up.  He layed there for a while and then kissed Ginger's forhead and
pulled his arm out from under her. "Jeff where are you going?"  said
Ginger worried, "I'll be right back, I just have to use the
bathroom."  Ginger closed her eyes again almost forgetting what
happened.  "Oh my gosh, Jeff," she started to cry.  "I'm here, I'm
here," he assured her as he walked back in the room.  "Oh Jeff, what
do we do now?"  "Well, Ginger.  I-I guess we have to go on with our
lives.  Come on now" he said with a smile, "why don't you get up and
I will start you a bath and make some homemade waffles." Ginger
giggled, "Jeff you don't know how to make waffles."  He looked at her
playfully, "what's there to know?  Salt, sugar, shortening, and flour
are the heart of every modern pantry!" Ginger giggles a bit and he
leaves the room.

She sits up walks over to the window and looks up at the sky and
starts to cry.  She heard Jeff yell up the stairs "Ginger your bath
is ready," she wiped the tears off her face and yelled back, "I'll be
there in a minute."  She walked into the bathroom and looked at
herself in the mirror.  She started crying again, and got into the
tub.  She sat there thinking and crying and wondering why God would
take their baby away from them.  She layed there for a while and than
sunk all the way into the water.  Jeff knocked on the door, "Ginger,
your breakfast is ready..." he waited for her to say something then
heard nothing, "Ginger?" he paused and then knocked on the door
again, "Ginger, your starting to scare me."  He tried to open the
door but it was locked, so he ran into the kitchen and went through a
drawer which had junk in it.  He was getting impatient and threw
everything on the floor.  He finally found the key and ran back up to
the bathroom, "Ginger...Ginger, I'm coming in."  He got the key into
the key hole and abruptly open the door.  "Ginger!"  He yelled and
ran to the bath tub and pulled her out. "Ginger, what are you
doing?"  Jeff asked while he wrapped a towel around her. Ginger
looked at Jeff and said, "I don't deserve to live.  The baby died
because of me."  Jeff looked at her with an expression that showed
that she was wrong when Linda came into the doorway.  "No, it is me.
I'm the one that doesn't deserve to live..."
