Here a bride, there a bride, where's the bride, con'td

"Anne....Anne, I got a stain on my favorite shirt and I tried to wash it, but
it looks worse." Anne looked at the shirt, "Oh Al...you don't put water on a
stain like this..." Hank walked by and smiled, "I could have told you that!"
Anne looked at both of them and smiled, "I am so glad that you two have come
to terms with each other, I am so proud of you both!" Hank walked up to
Linda, "How is Ginger doing?" Linda replied, "She seems to be ok, but I'm
not too sure..." Hank gave her a little bit of a worried look when Anne
broke in and said, "Of course she is ok. I have been praying for both her
and Jeff, not to mention Gina. They will all be just fine." Hank, Linda and
Al all looked around at each other and smiled. Anne broke in, "What?!"
At the hospital, Charlie and Mike Jr were still waiting for news on Gina.
She still wasn't waking up and they were both worried. "Charlie, just go
home and get some rest...she is my wife." Charlie looked at him and wondered
if he knew about him and Gina. "No," said Charlie, "I am staying right here.
It is good to know your parents got a good night sleep last night." Mike
looked at him defensively, "My parents were very worried! They are good
people!" Charlie tried but couldn't stop himself, "If your parents were such
great people then they would be here right now! Did you know that they were
trying to deport Gina the whole time you were gone? I'm tired of keeping
quiet, but I can't swallow anymore of this..." The doctor came out. Both
Charlie and Mike rushed up to him and asked about Gina. "Gina will be ok,
she has a broken leg, 4 broken ribs and she won't be able to use her right
hand and arm for quite a while. All in all, she was very lucky. We had
another woman in the same accident that lost her child." Charlie looked down
at the ground, he knew it was Ginger. He started to be worried for her when
the doctor said, "Gina should wake up any minute-" before he could finish
Charlie was in her room. Mike followed and they sat next to her bed. They
heard a little moan, "She must be comin around," said Charlie excitedly.
"Mike..." Gina mummbled as she slowly opened her eyes. "Gina?" said Mike
while he grabbed her hand, "Emma..where's Emma?" Charlie jumped up and said,
"she is fine, she went home with the Sloans." Gina squinted, her eyes were
foggy from being out for so long, "Charlie? Charlie" She said seeming
excited. "I'm right here," he said "Where you come from?" she asked. Mike
started to speak, "Gina, he has been here all night, you'de think you were
married to him!" Gina looked at Charlie and smiled, "You wait for me?"
Charlie smiled, "Of course. What did you think I would do...sit at home on
my thumbs while you are here?" She smiled and tried to sit up. Mike helped
her and she whinced in pain. "What happen?" Mike looked at her, "you got hit
by a car..." she looked confused, "who..hit? why hit me?" She looked at
Charlie, "We don't know who it was, they drove away." Gina still looking
confused said, "why somebody do that?" Mike said, "We don't know...all that
matters is that you are alright." Gina looked at her hand, "I can't move
it." "We know" said Charlie, "you broke it" She looked up worried, "How
I...make money? I can't pay rent." Mike put his hand on her shoulder,
"Honey, don't worry, I have all the money you need and you are going to move
back to my parents house." Charlie looked at Mike and had an overwhelming
feeling that he wanted to punch him in the gut. Gina just kept looking at
both of them...

"Ginger, you're sure you're ok?" Asked Jeff again. "Jeff, I am fine..." she
said a little annoyed at being asked 80 times. "You didn't seem ok this
morning." He said worried. "I don't want to talk about it..." Ginger said a
little embarrassed. "Ok, Ginger. If you weren't fine...you would tell me
right?" She walked over to Jeff and brushed her hand over his hair, "your
sweet, of course I would." Jeff grinned, "Ok." Jeff opened his mom's car
door and let Ginger in and then he got in the drivers seat and started to
drive away. Jeff was smiling and talking to Ginger about Mr. Melon's visit
when he looked over at her. Ginger was white as a ghost and just staring at
the windshield. "Jeff, stop the car." she said insistantly. He looked at
her worried, "Ginger, what's wrong?" She sat still and said, "Jeff, just
stop the car, pull over." Jeff pulled the car over and stopped. He moved
closer to Ginger to see what was wrong. "Ginger..." He asked trying to see
what was wrong. Ginger looked at him and she looked so scared. Jeff grabbed
her hand and asked her what was wrong. "Jeff, I can't..." Jeff waited for
her to finish, "You can't what?" he asked "I don't know...I just can't
be...here." Jeff was worried, "Don't worry I am not going anywhere until you
feel better." Ginger looked at him, "Jeff, you don't get it...I am never
going to feel better." she looked at him and took a deep breath,
"everytime-everytime Jeff, I looked at you in that seat, in this car...I
can't..." she paused," I don't want to- I can't lose you." Ginger looked
down at his hand on top of hers and Jeff touched the side of her face, "I'm
right here." She looked up and he moved closer to her kissed her cheek and
whispered, "You wouldn't be able to get rid of me if you tried." Jeff assured
her and she smiled. "Can we just sit here for a little while?" Jeff smiled
at her, "of course we can. I love you Mrs Metcalf." She moved closer to him
and put her head on his shoulder and Jeff put his arms around her, she smiled
and knew that she never wanted him to let her go...
