| Jeff walked in from the kitchen with a cookie in his mouth. "Hey Jeff I'm glad to see you haven't changed sense we were left." Hank laughed as Jeff finished eating. Sarah gave him a weak smile but Jeff didn't notice. "Hey Hank, Sarah glad your home." he replied his mouth still full. He was hurrying out the door. "Well that's a nice welcome back. Where are going in such a rush?" Hank asked curious. "Someplace." he yelled from down the walk, his mind on Ginger. Poor Jeff, Sarah thought. He probably wanted to get away from them. She didn't want him to feel heartbroken over the fact that she chose Hank over him. I mean it must be so hard for him seeing us together. He'll just have to get over it, she decided..Her thoughts were interupted by Hank. "Let's go get reaqauinted with our bed." he whispered mischeivously into her ear. "Hank, your mother's over there listening." she nervously remarked. Anne was keeping a close eye on them. "Sorry mom but Sarah and I have to do some um unpacking upstairs, it might take an hour." Sarah nudged him in the side. "Or two." he finished, sweeping Sarah up again carrying her towards the bedroom. Anne watched smiling to herself. Sarah must be comfortable now. I mean now that her first time jitters were gone. Anne quickly vanished the thought. Who wanted to think of their children's marital obligations anyway? Her mind immedialtly drifted to Al. They had a heavenly time on their date. Lord knows he's must have been around the block a couple of times. No, he's not like that. He only kissed her on the cheek. She secretly hoped for more. This was not a good sign. A devout Catholic could not have these thoughts. But Anne couldn't help it. What she needed was advice and she knew the perfect person to give it to her..... "Charlie Hailey, if you divorce me I'm going to make your life a living hell!" Caroline shouted. "Sorry Caroline you already have. I should've left you in England, but that's okay you'll be going back soon enough!" with that said, he left. Caroline couldn't stop crying. How can I go home? If that wretched old man's heart hadn't stopped she wouldn't be in this bloody mess. There was no way she was going back to England, even if she had to go to drastic measures to keep her there..... |
