My Background

While practicing at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee, I have served as:

-- Chairman of the Cardiology Committee for two terms
-- Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory since 1977
-- A member of the Governing Staff Committee
-- A member of the Radiation Safety Committee
-- An active member of multiple ad hoc committees involved in education, staff    development, community affairs, and other activities at Columbia hospital.

Over the years, I have delivered multiple lectures at Columbia Hospital and within the community, as well as remained active in the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association and retained my membership at the Milwaukee Academy of Medicine.

My interests within the Cardiology arena include cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, atherectomy, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, pacemakers, and cardiac rehabilitation. Of special interest is alternative health strategies and chest pain in women.

When not working I enjoy spending time with my wife, Sue Thompson, and our two children. My interests include sailing, golf, aviation, and computers.
