Well, hi there everybody!

Yesterday we had our 6th pre-natal appointment and I am officially in the home stretch.  I am in my 3rd and last trimester and am 29 weeks.  I weighed in at 148 pounds (gained 8 pounds since last month) which means I have gained 29 pounds since my first appointment when I was 119 pounds. I had to take my glucose test to see if I have gestational diabetes and my results came back negative which is great news!!!

Everything else was pretty routine.. just checked the heartbeat which was at 135 (which is normal).  Doc says things are sailing along smoothly.

I am still feeling great. I am certainly getting BIGGER and I love it. Our son is really moving around like crazy these days and making lil earthquakes in my tummy! It's so fun to see him jumping around.  I stare at my belly for minutes on end just hoping to catch a glance of it moving. We are still playing music for him and both of us are still reading to him before bed.  We have chosen to deliver at St. Joseph's Hospital in downtown Denver. It's a Catholic hospital and we got a really great vibe during our tour so we are registered and taking classes.  Aaron and I began our childbirth classes last Saturday which is really exciting (1st of 4).  The best part for me was just meeting other moms-to-be.  The first class was mostly introduction so it was a bit boring but I'm sure they will get better.  I have also started my pregnancy in motion classes (work out class) which are Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next 6 weeks.  It's a work out class and I LOVE this one, I was on the Stairmaster for a measly 7 minutes and I was DONE! So I am looking forward to exercising, getting into shape and having fun.  Aaron has his bootcamp for dads this Saturday and he is really excited.

We continue to be crazy busy!  Halloween was fun, we went to our friend Anisa's party and I was a bumble bee and Aaron dressed as a bee catcher of sort.  I thought it was fun.  The best part was just about everyone dressed and there were so many clever costumes!!!

Wednesday I helped celebrate my friend Dina Fanters Birthday at a karaoke bar where Gia very funnily signed me up to get up and sing "Like a Virgin" and we ad-libbed many parts (adding NOT very loudly after singing the chorus) and had the crowd busting up!! We have a holiday party this Saturday and our baby shower that our Denver friends are throwing us this Sunday. We are so excited about that and can't wait to see all our friends, hang out and have a good time.

The baby shower in California was AMAZING.  We had such a great turn out and it was so lovely.  It was GREAT to be back in California and see my family and my friends there.  A special thanks to my friend Shelly who drove all the way from Alisa Viejo and didn't know ANYBODY else there!! :)

We hit up downtown Long Beach - the Blue Cafe, went to the Seal Beach Pier and took Aaron to the infamous Venice Beach (where Komai -Dan & Diana Vogel's son- got his owwn little crowd going when he got the boogie in his butt and couldn't quit dancing!!! It was so cute!!)

So, that's about the news for us for now!!  We will catchup with you all next month and I look forward to hearing from all of you on how you are doing :)

OH YEAH and the name thing!!! ;)

Now, FINALLY Aaron and I have decided on a name.  We are naming our son....

Nicolas Kai Santillan Toney.

Yes, he will have 2 middles names which is a bit unusual but not completely unheard of.  He will hardly, if ever, go by Nicolas really. We will call him Nico for short and when he gets older we'll probably call him "Cole".  Kai means "ocean" in Hawaiian. Santillan of course being my last name and the baby's last name will be Toney.

I'm probably leaving stuff out like I always do and will wish I added this n that as soon I send this... but for now this is it.  Much love to you all.

p.s. attached are links to some recent pictures we have taken - enjoy!  Choose the slideshow option so you can see the captions. Make sure you copy the WHOLE address (sometimes it shows on two different lines) into your webbrowser.  If you have problems and can't access the pictures let me know and I'll send it from the site - which usually works better.
