Well, after sending out my 4th pre-natal check up email... my friend, Walker, said he has a roommate who has been an ultra-sound technician for 13 years and we could come by over the weekend if we wanted to get an ultrasound.

So of course we did - video camera and all. They hooked up the machine to a TV so we could see everything.  And it was amazing.  Of course Craig, the tech, showed us everything but the sex, leaving us in suspense!  I think it was much better than going to the doctors office because he really took his time with us - explaining everything.  We saw the baby rubbing his neck, moving his arms over his head... we saw him opening and closing his mouth, moving his tongue - it was so clear and SO AMAZING.  We saw him move his hand towards his mouth and suck his thumb.  We saw his little feet with his toes - I mean it was amazing!  And yes.. he/his...IT'S A BOY.

And there is no mistaking the bits and pieces that Craig pointed out to us... it was not the placenta or anything mistaken.... he IS a boy.  The football game was on in the background so Aaron counts it as his first "official Bears Game Bond" he and his son had.

Now we just have to think of a name because we have no idea.  We were just so excited that I wanted to share with all of you our wonderful news!!

xo Melissa, Aaron and our baby BOY.
