August 18, 2002-Yes, that's right, I'm back! ::watches everyone scatter away:: Oh... ^_^ After a grueling year of school and work (and lousy email service), I'm back and ready for action. I'm currently in process of updating the site, one fanfic/page at a time, and will eventually get everything back up. Please no hard feelings to fanfics I don't get up, my comp has fried more than once during this time and I have lost a great deal of data, including updates for this site as well as other side projects for other sites I work on. Ugh... ^_^ If I accidently overlook you or lost your fanfic, please PLEASE send it to me again at Melissa McClendon and I will get it up over the next few weeks. ^_^ Yell at me if you want to for losing it, lord knows I deserve it.

As for the Fanfiction Awards, it didn't get as good a turn out as I was hoping and have decided to hold it off for a year. Maybe I can get together with some other authors/site and create something spectacular next year for all of you hard-working fanfic authors out there. You all deserve a lot more recognition than you receive.

I'm also thinking of a new layout for the site, although I like its simplistic design. ^_^ Let me know your thoughts on this, guys!

Okay. ::drum roll:: Here's what I've updated so far, keeping in mind I'm doing this a little at a time so I can still get all of my other work done. ^_^

Added the first three fanfics "The Wise Man Chronicles" page, and "Star Ocean: Destiny" to the Star Ocean 2 Archive; "The Fear From Within" to the Chrono Trigger Archive; "Before They Were Heroes" and "Selfie's Dillema" to the FF8 Archive; "Ten Braves' Stories" to the FFT Archive; and a new link to the Link Exhange.

June 2, 2001- What's that?! Its a bird, its a plane! No... Oh MY! Its Godzilla! No, not really. lol Actually, yes, that's right, Dei is actually back from the dead and has updated! ^_^ Now that summer is here, between my job and sleeping, I will update more often with new features to enhance your daily life. ^_^ In case you guys didn't notice this, the Headquarters' birthday was on May 20 and although it took me longer than I had hoped, I have prepared a special event in celebration of this grand occasion. I have set before you the Official 2000-2001 Fanfiction Awards. By clicking on the banner below, you will be taken to the official rules of the contest and will be provided with links to each of the categories.

Added a couple of new archives below and fixed a few broken links. Added "The Power of a Serdian Princess", "The Water Dragoons: The Story of Damia", "Waiting", "Forever Scarred", "Hidden Light", and "The Meaning" to the Legend of Dragoon archive; "What is the Square?", "Final Fantasy 007: Goldenmateria", "Final Fantasy 007: Gold Chocobo", "Shadowed Truths", and "A Square Wedding" to the FF7 archive; "Grahf, Power or Your Money Back" to the XG archive; "The Wizard od Zozo" to the CT archive; and I added a few new links to the Link Exhange page.

January 7, 2001- Excuses are not going to make up for my lack of updates these past few months so other than telling everyone I've been extremely busy with school and work, I'm not going to elaborate unless everyone is just frighteningly curious about my life. ^_~ I've decided in order to post the enormous amounts of fanfiction sitting in my mailbox (my apologies), I'm going to update a little at a time until I get caught up and update regularly. Added the Submissions page, all of you authors and potential authors should look there; added the Chrono Trigger, Suikoden, Valkyrie Profile, and Final Fantasy IX archives to the main page and are now open for submissions (Note: There are no fanfiction in these archives yet, so please don't click on their respective links until I say so); "Tifa UNCENSORED" to the FF7 section; and "Hard Feelings" to the XG section. Please remember that I have enormous amounts of work to do and this is the only way I can get caught up. I still have many fics to put up but I will announce when I'm finally finished. Look forward to new fics from many new and talented writers as well as fics from pro's such as Swiftgold and my dearest friend Geode. I just need a little time. Thank you!

September 2, 2000-Yes!! Finally an update! ^_^ A small one atleast with a lot more to come over the next few days! As of now, I have a few pieces to put up from some very impressive writers, as well as a few pathetic pieces to add from my own writings. ^_~ Added "Bliss" and "Remembrance: Chapter Three" to the XG Section; "Ashton Tries Again", "Leon's Travels", "Precis Goes On A Journey", and "Silence" to the Star Ocean Section; and "Dressed For Success", "Forbidden", and "Fortune's Whim" to the Lunar section. Much, MUCH more to come (hopefully this weekend) from such favorites as my dearest friend Geode as well as many other talented writers. Enjoy!

August 3, 2000-Sigh... my life sometimes is one big joke. People, there was a very good reason as to why I haven't updated in so long. My aol account has went awol and I can longer access my mailbox, where all of the new submissions and fanfic inquiries were. June 27, 2000- Added "Wasted Land: Sabin's Story" to the FF6 section; "Final Fantasy VIII Return" to the FF8 section; "Hot Springs", "Inertia", "The Man and the Doctor", "Nailed", "Rain", and "Significance" to the Xenogears section; "Ashton's Past", "A Familiar Force", and "Star Ocean: Fantastic Fiction- Season Two" to the SO2 section; "Dark Angel", "Nocturne", and "The Sorceror's Apprentice" to the Lunar section; and "Boogie Down, Disco Fever", "Hit the Road, Jack", and "The Quest for Hiades" to the Wild ARMs section. I also managed to put up one character shrine in the Dei's Character Shrines section and one link to the Links Section. A special thanks to Tifa9 for being so considerate. ^_^ If I don't have your fic up or link up yet, let me know because I seem to just be falling apart. ^_^ I guess my computer crashing was an omen because my keyboard was very promptly fried and since I have a laptop, it took awhile to get it fixed. June 11, 2000- Added "I, Terra", "Someone to Love", and "I Feel Nothing" to the FF6 section; "Seeking Out the Truth" to the FFT section; "After the Storm", "Caller of the West Wind", "Oneechan", "Remembrance of the Flight Seeker", "The Incident", "Flowers", and "Me, I am" to the Wild ARMs section; and one new review to the Fanfiction Reviews section. I actually had an even larger update than this, but my computer crashed in the middle of it and I only had half of it saved. I should just go an redo it, but I'm still too angry. Grr... Don't worry, the other fics will be up within the next few days. Enjoy!

June 7, 2000- Added "Imperial Witch" and "Terra" to the FF6 section; and "Ghost of Caldor Island" and "Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures" to the Lunar section. I have A LOT of fanfics to update still as well as some reviews to make... Sigh, I'm just suffering from laziness. ^_~

June 4, 2000- Updated the Reviews section with one review.

June 3, 2000- Added the Dei's Character Shrines, Fanfic Reviews, and Links sections. There isn't anything in the first two, I'm still working on those two pages, but the links are up, just not all of them. Expect a fanfiction update within the next few days.

June 1, 2000- Added "Fear" and "Wasted Land: Edgar's Story" to the FF6 Section; "Star Ocean: Fantastic Fiction" Season One to the SO2 Section; "The Demons", "When Darkness Turns to Light", "Return of the Demons", "The Demons' Return", and "Through the De La Metalica" to the Wild ARMs Section; and "Heir to the Guild" and "I, the Blue Dragon" to the Lunar Section. May 22, 2000- Uploaded several new fics for the FF8 and Star Ocean sections. Note to all! Until I get this site on its feet and all of the fanfics submissions out of my mailbox, I will not seek out FF7 fanfiction unless it is sent to me. There are just so many of them out there that if I didn't do this, none of the other fanfiction pages would get prepared. But if you do have a FF7 fanfic, go ahead and send it in and I'll put it up. Also, I may set up a review committee for all of the fanfiction pages and will be looking for people to help with this. If you're interested contact me. Until next time!
