Rudy yawned and stretched as he, Jane, Seph, and Noble Knight re-entered Adlehyde just a day or two after their incident with the demons. They quickly made their way to the castle where they were greated with a cry of surprise and a crash.

"What the hell?!" Jane wondered aloud as another crash sounded. The four Dream Chasers exchanged a glance and looked into a room branching off from the hallway.

Well, at least they had found Cecilia and the others, but they were not prepared for what they saw. Jack, Cecilia, and Elmina were rolling on the floor laughing while Boomerang and Zed were in the middle of an enourmous and rough wrestling match that Boomerang was easily winning. He had Zed in a headlock and was throwing him into several barrels and crates which was the source of the crashes that Rudy, Noble Knight, Jane, and Seph had heard.

Suddenly, Boomerang completely picked up Zed and threw him across the room and into a stack of barrels. Boomerang then dusted off his armor and sat down beside Jack, Elmina, and Cecilia who were still laughing.

Noble Knight grinned and spoke, catching the demon's and the Dream Chasers' attention, "A little rough, aren't you?"

Boomerang laughed, "Nah...that's NOTHING compared to what Zeik and the others put him through before we came to Filgaia."

As Zed climbed out of the barrels he growled, "I beg to differ..."

Boomerang walked over and pushed the green-haired swordsman back into the barrel pile and said, "Ah, shuddup. And while you're in there, see if any of these barrels have anything to drink in ‘em. I'm DYING of thirst over here!!"

Jack turned to Rudy, Noble Knight, Jane, and Seph and asked, "Did you find anything?"

Jane answered with a cocky grin, "Five demons. One of which is dead now."

Seph added, "We found their headquarters. I suggest we attack as soon as possible before they get the upper hand." Cecilia and Elmina agreed.

Zed asked, once again climbing out of the barrel pile, "Wait a minute. What do you mean one of ‘em is dead now?"

Noble Knight answered, one hand on her hip, "Dazer betrayed her and killed her." She made a line across her throat with her finger. Elmina winced. Noble Knight continued, "I think it was just by sheer luck that we escaped. But Sephy swears up and down that one of the clones helped us out."

Seph yelled, whirling around to face Noble Knight, Jane, and Rudy, "I'm telling you he did!!"

Boomerang stood up and asked, becoming interested with the new topic of the conversation, "Which one?"

Seph turned to him and stated, "Your clone. Chakrum."

Rudy stated, "Their headquarters looked a lot like the Photosphere, except that it had several cannon-thingies on the top of it and it's defense was a lot better."

"Oh no..." Zed groaned.

"Damn it..." Boomerang growled. Lucied whimpered.

"What? What's wrong?" Jack asked.

Zed replied, "The Photosphere wasn't the only sphere that the Demon Race ever made. It was the last of four. The one that Rudy just described was the first sphere, the strongest."

Boomerang continued, "The Filmsphere. It was the beginning of the Demon Race's technological advances, but every sphere after it has been a waste of time making except for the Photosphere."

The Dream Chasers exchanged a glance. Cecilia, Rudy, Jack, Elmina, Noble Knight, Jane, and Seph looked back at the two demons and asked, "The Filmsphere?!"

Zed answered, "Yeah. The first two spheres after it didn't last long. Especially the second sphere." He turned to Boomerang. "Which one was that?"

Boomerang stated, "The Developmentsphere, I think. The one that came after that was the Albumsphere and it lasted a little while longer than the Developmentsphere." He looked at the Dream Chasers who were trying to hold back their laughter. They had never heard such corny names for weapons in their lives! "The Developmentsphere and the Albumsphere had high-powered weapons, but their defense sucked majorly!! They didn't last long during the first war with the Elws and the humans."

"OH! I just remembered!" Noble Knight spoke up, "Did you feel any pain while we were gone?" Boomerang shook his head. "That's because there must be something about the distance between the three of us and the clones. The connection screws up whenever we're far away from them."

Zed grinned and laughed, "That's a good thing except for one small detail: We won't be miles away from them. We'll be fighting them!" Noble Knight shrugged, not having an answer to that.

Jane tapped her foot impatiently and asked, "Well?! Are we just gonna stand here, or are we gonna go kick these demons' asses?!"

Noble Knight grinned and yelled, "KICK ASS!!"

"What do you mean?" Zed wanted to know.

Rudy replied, "I'm telling you, Dazer is NOTHING like you!! You should have seen him when he killed Mother." Zed gave him a confused look. "Err...well...just before they started playing that game to see who would get to kill us, Dazer said that the winner would get us and a body part from each of the losers."

"WHAT?! GROSS!!" Zed yelled, his face turning pale.

"Oooooooooooo!" came Boomerang's voice.

Elmina turned around and asked him, "What's so fascinating?"

Boomerang responded, his voice full of child-like awe, "I've never flown through a cloud before!" All of the Dream Chasers in the Gull Wing burst out laughing. Since they knew where they were going, Cecilia and Jack had once again split the Dream Chasers into two teams. Jack, Cecilia, Jane, Seph, and Lucied were all on the Sweet Candy while Rudy, Elmina, Zed, Boomerang, and Noble Knight flew to the Arctica area in the Gull Wing.

Rudy was flying the airship while Zed and Elmina sat behind him. Behind them sat Boomerang and Noble Knight. Boomerang practically had his visor plastered to the Gull Wing's window, watching the scenery zoom by. Noble Knight however was uncomfortable. She kept shifting in her seat and muttering something non-understandable.

"Oh, great..." she finally spoke, "I think I'm claustraphobic..." Zed had to fight back the urge to laugh.

Rudy laughed and reassured her, "Don't worry. We're almost there. It'll take Jack's group a while longer to get there, though, since they're travelling by boat. They'll be there tomorrow--" He was cut off by a growling noise. Actually, two growling noises.

He, Elmina, and Zed slowly turned around and stared at Noble Knight and Boomerang who were looking down at their stomachs. Noble Knight growled, shifting in her seat again and rubbing her growling stomach, "I haven't eaten since we left Adlehyde the first time, so shut up!"

Boomerang laughed, turning back to the window, "Well, I haven't eaten in three years so, NYAH!!"

"BRRRRR!!" Zed yelled, jumping up and down to keep his circulation going, "It's a lot colder than I remember it was!!"

Rudy tossed him one of the group's fur-trimmed jackets which the demon gladly put on. When the five of them had put on their jackets, gloves, and fur-trimmed boots, they started walking slowly in the direction of the Filmsphere.

Suddenly, Boomerang stopped and grabbed his left leg. "OW!! What the hell?"

Noble Knight guessed, "It's probably from when Jane shot Chakrum. I'll bet that's what you're feeling."

Boomerang protested, with a few ‘ow's in between his words, "I wouldn't think so. It feels more like someone's resetting my bones..."

"EAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!!!!!!!" Chakrum screamed as Dark Knight finished resetting his broken leg. The demons had just found out that not only did the bullet from Jane's ARM injure his leg, but it also grazed the bone, managing to fracture it. Chakrum would not be able to walk right for a while, but at least he would be able too heal faster.

"Oh, shut up, you wimp!" Dark Knight growled, rebandaging Chakrum's leg. Chakrum slowly sat up as Dark Knight finished. Dark Knight turned to Zeikfried who was leaning against the wall of the room. "What I don't get is how those damn humans could have gotten loose without us seeing them!" Chakrum looked down at the floor.

Zeikfried snapped, "Well, if you hadn't been so busy watching Dazer kill Mother, then they wouldn't have escaped!"

"OH! And where were you, Mr. All-High-And-Powerful?! FISHING?!?!" Dark Knight demanded. Chakrum slowly got off of the table that he was lying on, grabbed his crutch, and limped out of the room before Dark Knight and Zeikfried blew their tops again.

I swear...it's impossible for those two to get along! Chakrum thought. (I'm not gonna bother with his accent when he's just thinking. =P ) They think we lost the humans, but they'll be back. They won't stop until the four of us are dead...

Zed unsheathed the Doom Bringer and Boomerang readied the Sabre Fang as the group entered the Filmsphere. Elmina started to move forward when Zed stopped her and motioned to the floor. Several panels were flashing fire-red. "We have to find the security generators," he stated. Rudy nodded and took out one of his bombs.

Boomerang spoke, pointing to a tall, metal pillar, "It's up there. Give either me or Zed the bomb." Rudy gave Zed the bomb. The security generator was high on the pillar and there was no way to it that they could see.

Elmina asked, "But how are you gonna get up--" Before he could answer her, Zed leaped into the air and landed right beside the generator. "...there..."

After the generator blew up, Zed jumped back down to the group and they continued through the door. They had to take time to destroy several security generators, but it shaved only a few minutes off of their progress. The Filmsphere did not have very many monsters that they had to fight compared to the Photosphere. There was only the occasional Zoa Zien or Ukoback, extremely weak monsters compared to the two demons.

Zed and Boomerang did most of the fighting, leaving the destruction of the generators to Rudy, Noble Knight, and Elmina. Zed was in the middle of fighting off a group of Ukobacks while Noble Knight destroyed a generator when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his left shoulder. Zed managed to resist crying out in pain as he clapped a hand over his shoulder and looked at the wound.

He gasped, partially from pain, but mostly from surprise. The wound had been made by an ARM bullet. Behind Zed on the wall there was a splash of his blood and a small hole in the wall. The bullet went right through his shoulder!

"CRAP!!" came Rudy's voice. Zed followed his gaze to see who had just shot him.
