Layla means "Born At Night" in Ancient Egyptian, and we thought that was a fitting tribute to her stunning black sire, To The End Of Time. Layla is not only the first homebred foal at Karnak, she is also the most breathtaking filly we've ever seen. A dainty muzzle, matching her pert and petite body, a perfect tail-set, and an elegant neck, a trademark of To The End Of Time and his foals.
She has a precious way of acting, with small quirks that make this filly undeniable. For one thing, Layla has an obsessive love for Oreos. Yes, Oreos. We have no idea how this passion of hers was started, but to deny Layla her daily treat is not a smart move. She's a grudge holder, and won't "speak" to you for days or even weeks - she goes so far as to turn heel and storm away! When she isn't busy loathing someone or gobbling up Oreos, Layla can be found parading around the pastures, her head and tail held as high as equinely possible, and her face filled with a smug satisfaction that she is, in fact, fabulous.
