| "I've waited a long time for this Leek." Harvey was about to draw his gun, but Rick already has his pulled on Harvey. "Drop it on the floor Leek, and kick it over to me." Harvey hesitated. "I have no problem dropping you right here." Rick threatened again. Slowly Harvey pulled his gun out and set it on the ground. Rick watched every move he made. "Good now kick it over here. Harvey did as he was told. Harvey glanced back at the bomb. Seven minutes remained. "Are you worried about that?" Rick asked walking over to Harvey. "I am worried if it takes us out it might also take any kids out that might still be lingering about in the school." Rick laughed. "I see. But that's why I choose this school. See when they have fire alarms each kids goes to a checkpoint and they get their names checked off a list. So if any kid is lets say sick they wont be on the list." Harvey nodded. "So they are all accounted for. Smart move Rick, unfortunately that's your only smart move." "Oh, really? Give me your cuffs." Harvey pulled him out and handed them over to Rick. Rick cuffed Harvey to a pipe that was near the bomb. "What do you think about that move?" Rick asked as he headed up the stairs. Harvey yanked on the cuffs, he knew time was not on his side. Glancing at the timer he only had five minutes left. "This not the way I want to go." ~~~~~ Rick laughed as he ran out of the school, and headed across the football field. He paused briefly as soon as he knew he was out of the blast zone. Checking he watch he watched it tick down to one minute. "See you in hell Leek." He mumbled out loud. "You'll be waiting for a long time Rick." Nash yelled. Rick raised his hands up in the air. "Good job, Bridges. But it sure isn't going to help Leek any." Nash slowly approached Rick, as did Joe, Evan and Michelle. "Where is he?" Evan barked. "Oh, in the school, but I wouldn't go in there if I were you." Nash yanked of Rick's arms down. "What do you mean?" Just as the words left Nash's mouth an explosion ripped through the side of the building. "See I told you not to go into the school." Evan dropped his gun and ran towards the school, followed by Michelle. Nash glared back to Rick who was laughing. "You are going pay dearly if any thing happens to Harvey." "Sounds fun." ~~~~ Evan pulled open a door leading into the school. Smoke filled the halls making it difficult to see the schools sprinkler system rained down on him. "Harvey!" He called out. Michelle finally caught up to him. "Do you know were Harvey may have gone?" Evan looked around. "Oh, God I don't know." ~~~~ Down in the boiler room rubble was everywhere. Harvey could feel a heavy presser on his chest and legs. He opened his eyes briefly, but the pain took over as he blacked out. |
