Challenge #6
This one comes to us from
Nora NJensen

Another Year Older and ....

deeper in debt?  Not necessarily:)  One of the guys,
preferably Harvey, is facing another birthday.  We don't
even have to know how old - we just need to know the
ramifications of the event.

Is he dreading it?  Feeling old?  Does handling a mishap on
the job that day make him realize he's not that old or only
as old as you feel?  Is there family history that could
impact how he feels about this birthday - a death, a
celebration - maybe even something that happened to a
previous partner on his birthday.  Parental pressure for
success by a certain age?  Personal pressure for success by
a certain age?  A childhood mishap on a birthday causing
misgivings about the date?  Do the others know it's his
birthday?  Does he want them to know, wishes they knew?
Maybe he's never had a birthday party?  Or maybe he's had
one with a tragic outcome or a humorous outcome?

It can be serious or humorous, long or short, angst, drama
or light hearted fluff.  The key is that the birthday has to
play a major role in the story.
So start writing, we're looking forward to your responses!
