Steve's Weight Loss Tips

Don't overeat when served a big meal (especially important when I get
lunch at work with a big restaurant portion).

Chew your food slowly, appreciate every bite.

Every morning, before showering, shake the fat on your belly and
other areas, while visualizing "I'm coming after you".

Go for a brisk 5 minute walk a few times daily (especially if you have a
desk job). Going for a walk is also good when you feel like nervous
snacking, but you aren't really hungry.

Weigh yourself every morning at the same time, before eating or drinking.
There are minor fluctuations, but immediate feedback is important for
motivation. You can also see the results when you overeat.

Eat less meat, more vegetables. Prefer seafood over land meats.

Outside the 3 meals, eat only fruit for snacks (I like 2 bananas at 3:00).

Bike to work. Get a child bike seat if you have a small child, and bike
to the playground.

Avoid "diet food", it doesn't taste good.

Only watch TV while standing up.

Avoid dairy and cheese, yogurt is good.

Play more tennis and ping pong.

Drink more water.

Avoid eating a whole pint of sorbet in one sitting.

Don't order cookies everyday for lunch.

Avoid all artificial sweeteners and trans fats.
