"You should have"

You grabbed my arm as I tried to leave
With a look of longing in your eyes, you asked me to stay
My heart skipped a beat with your touch
You could have kissed me
Right then,
You should have told me that you love me
I would have stayed if only you gave me a reason
If only I was your's
True disire masked by our need to remain friends
Love hidden under our lies
We continue to say its only lust when our hearts beat together
Do you know that I can feel your heart beating?
But I break from your embrase and run away
Today will end without you, just like every day before
I love you!
You should have kissed me and told me you love me...
