Spring Break '99
In March of this year we went to Florida. It was a much needed vacation. We left late Friday night and after THE longest drive, we arrived in Orlando ready to rock and roll...or sleep. Ü
Come along with us on our trip. The photos may take a while to load, but they're fun, and I think worth the wait!
We started in EPCOT on Sunday. Here I am with my two kiddos enjoying the warm Florida sun! Click on the photo for more pictures from EPCOT.
We ended up not staying long as the crouds were heavy and the attractions were...not what we expected. I think some day I wouldn't mind going through there again, but when you're ready for the excitement Orlando has to offer, EPCOT is not the place to start!
Let me back up to Saturday afternoon:
After we checked into our hotel, we drove down the strip in Kissimmee and discovered Wonder Works -- an amazing looking building with tons of interesting stuff inside. Click on the photo for more!
When we left EPCOT we traveled on the monorail over to the Magic Kingdon - the heart of Walt Disney World. I think we had the most fun here. The best rides, the shortest lines and a familiarity made it fun. (we'd been there before in '91) Click on the photo to come inside the magic Kingdom!

One of the bast parts of the trip was an African Safari at the newest theme park in Orlando - Disney's Animal Kingdom. Click on the photo.
