Jax was at the PC Grille and was just about to leave when someone suddenly came from behind him.

"JAX! Thank god I found you!"

Jax was completely surprised. It was Simon Prentiss.

Simon told Jax that he had fallen madly in love with the beautiful woman he had brought to Monte Carlo with him months back. He had been under the impression that she was someone called Isabella, until he discovered otherwise. Simon pleaded for Jax to tell him the name of this beautiful "enchantress" that had captured his heart, because he knew they were made for each other.

But Jax refused to give Simon what he wanted. After all, V. was his friend, and friends protect their friends from cheaters like Simon Prentiss.

But Simon was not willing to give up so easily. He was determined to stay in Port Charles until he found the woman of his dreams.

At the Q Mansion, V. came storming in on a mission: to get Ned to rehearse his music. V. was Ned's assistant for L & B and she was determined to get Ned to do his job. Chloe was thrilled to hear that Ned was a singer and wanted to hear more about Ned's music career.

Ned, however, was not going to rehearse. Ned explained that he and Jax were headed to New York for a business meeting that night, so he had no time.

But Jax was running late, so eventually Ned gave in and played a song for Chloe and V.

   

Jax finally arrived. He explained his lateness by the arrival of V.'s admirer. "Do you remember Simon Prentiss?" he asked V.

   

"You mean the guy I conked over the head and led believe I made wild passionate love to while I took all the money he had stole from everybody but especially you in Monte Carlo? Yeah, kinda."

"Well the man's crazy about you. He said you were an enchantress."

"An 'enchantress'? Whew!" Ned whistled. "Congratulations V.!"

Chloe grinned widely at V.

V. looked at Chloe. "Don't be impressed. The guy's a playboy."

Jax warned V. that Simon had no intentions of leaving town until he found her.

"Are you serious?!" V. exclaimed as the men walked out of the room.

"Nice to see you again, Chloe," Jax said.

"Say hello to Simon for us!" Ned teased V.

"Yeah, say hello to Simon!" Jax laughed.

Chloe lit up. "V., how romantic!"

V. rolled her eyes. "Oh, you wouldn't say that if you knew Simon Prentiss."

"But that's the thing, I do! He's an old friend of mine."

"He is?"

"He is one of the most eligible bachelors on the continent. You should be flattered. I could tell you countless women who would kill to capture his attention."

"Well I am not flattered! And I would live happily ever after if I never *ever* saw Simon Prentiss ever again!"

At Luke's, Simon followed Jerry around, hoping that he would tell him the name of the woman who had captured his heart. This annoyed Jerry. Simon told him that if he wanted to get rid of him, all he had to do was to simply give him the name of his enchantress. Jerry, of course, refused as well. Afterwards, Jerry invited Simon to Luke's backroom for a game of cards.

Back at the Q Mansion, Carly and AJ invited Chloe and V. for an evening out at Luke's, but V. declined, on account of one reason. Simon.

"There is a *horrible* man out looking for me," She explained. V. told Carly and AJ about Simon chasing after her. "I am just going to stay out of public places until Jax tells me that he has left town."

"Now this is just silly," Chloe said. "What would Simon be doing at a blue's club? And I need someone to sit with at the table while the newlyweds are dancing."

"I have been meaning to nag Luke about booking Ned at the club," V. admitted.

Eventually, the three talked V. into going to Luke's.

And what would Simon be doing at Luke's anyway?

Chloe, V., Carly, and AJ arrived at Luke's. Chloe introduced herself to Jason, whom she had seen playing out in the garden with Michael.

Still struggling with that board decision on the docks project, she asked if he had an opinion on the issue. Jason suggested he vote with Sonny or Ned, because AJ and Jax were not trustworthy.

"And you and Mr. Corinthos are?" Chloe asked.

"Don't I look honest?" Jason asked.

"To be perfectly frank, you look morbidly calm, and good for you. Paperwork has the opposite effect on me. Nice to meet you." Chloe smiled and walked over to the table.

Not long afterward, Simon came back into the room, and he saw her.

"Isabella! I have finally found you!" He rushed over to the table.

V. was speechless.

"Simon!" Chloe said.

"Chloe! You know this enchantress?"

"I'm not Isabella!" V. chimed in. "I thought Jax explained that."

Simon went on to explain how he had been looking everywhere for her.

"I fell in love with you," Simon told her.

"Why?" V. groaned.

Simon told her that she was the most enchanting, intoxicating, incandescent woman he had ever met.

V. was clearly annoyed.

"Simon, I can't believe you're here," Chloe said. "And why weren't you at my London show, you rat?"

"I told you, I was in Argentina searching for the love of my life."

V. insisted that Simon could not possibly love her, he didn't even know her.

Finally, she couldn't take anymore of Simon's blather, so she stormed out of Luke's, leaving Simon with Chloe.

"Alright, Simon, old friend, it is just the two of us now. Tell me the truth; are you really in love with my new friend?"

"All I know is that ever since I met her, I have been genuinely enchanted by her."

"You know me, Simon, I'm a sucker for romance. I want to think it can happen (snaps her fingers) just like that, in a flash of lightening, first moment you see someone. So if that's truly what has happened to you, then I absolutely wish you the best, but I think you have your work cut out for you."
