Day Three - December 1st, 2002
Hi peoples. Blah. I can't go anywhere today because I have to baby-sit my brother. So here I am, typing, while listening to sixties music on TV. And I have to work on my science project later.
Yesterday I went to the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum. It was pretty cool. That ship went through Pearl Harbor, Vietnam War, Korean War, and picked up some astronauts. And there were some really excellent planes on top. I saw a Tomcat and some other tanks. After that, we went to a tea house. I absolutely LOVE teahouses and Taiwanese food. The food was pretty good, except for the Roti Canai, which was too thick. We also passed these great gourmet bakeries. The funny part was, the manager some how had a liking to us. When we sat down, he started chatting to us. But the thing was, he kept asking us to order noodles. We were like, "We're just having a light dinner." And he kept on going, "Yeah, your kids might want some noodles." or something like that. And every time the waiter came to serve us our food, the guy kept suggesting us to buy noodles again! When we came out of the store, I was talking to my dad about it, and then he exploded. "I don't want any damn noodles! Couldn't the guy get a hint?"
Right now, my brother is being amazed at the static electricity coming out of the TV. He's supposed to be doing his homework. And every time I tell him to do it, he decides to either get food or drink, or go to the bathroom. Whatever.
Ciao,
Melody
