                    Book Review:

Aunt Eater was on the train going to her sister’s house when someone stole her bag. She asked everyone on the train if they had seen her bag. They found it. She brought popcorn with her but it was all popped.

That night, when she got there, they had a party. Aunt Eater returned home the next day. When she looked in her mailbox she found a little note that said, “I will be back at three o’clock.”

She ran to her neighbor’s house and asked if they wrote the note. It was not them. It was the mailman. He wrote it because he had a package for Aunt Eater.

I liked reading this book because I love anteaters. This is a good book for a third grader. It was fun to read.

Title: Amelia Bedelia’s Family Album

By: Peggy Parish

Illustrator: Lynn Sweat

Setting: I think that this story took place in Mr. & Mrs. Rogers’ neighborhood.

This story is about Amelia Bedelia’s family. She tells the story about her family who gave her a picnic party. Her whole family and the neighbors came. Everybody had a good time. They ate, played and talked with each other.

I thought it was a good book for a third grader. Amelia was nice and very silly. She was funny and made me laugh. Amelia and I both have a big family but hers is the funniest.

Title: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie

By Laura Joffe Numeroff

Illustrator: Felicia Bond

Setting: I think that this story took place at school and in the mouse’s house.

This story is about a mouse and a little boy. This mouse likes cookies and milk with a straw. One day, little boy brought the mouse to school.

When they got home the mouse took a nap. When he woke up he asked for more. The little mouse likes milk and cookies and so do I.

I think this is a cool book.
