Appearance:

Dussander is a hard looking man. He's tall, built, and carries himself in such a way that screams dominance. Dussanger has a square jaw and a stern face, with narrow, icy blue eyes that have a penetrating stare. His hair is dark brown and, although not cropped to the scalp, fairly short and often messy. Dussander has a habit of never taking off his hat, so the state of his hair, whatever it might be, is rarely noticed.

Dussander is a man who's very rarely seen out of uniform. From cap to boots, none of his troops have ever seen him underdressed lest it be in the shower rooms. He keeps his uniform well pressed and clean, with everything in its exact place each time he wears it. He's very nit-picky about his appearance and would never be seen out of doors without looking his absolute best.

But Dussander is no poncy little queen. He's an army man, through and through, and his stiff gait and stern expressions ensures that no one will forget his position either. Dussander rarely smiles, never laughs, and speaks in a gruff, commanding voice. No one has heard him do otherwise, or, if they have, they wouldn't dare say so.

Dussander is strict and orderly, he lets very little (ie. none) disobedience and unfavorable actions slip past him. He's incredibly commanding and equally aggressive, making for a formidable, and frightening, man to be under the command of. He takes no nonsense from anyone, even his favorites, and takes a sort of...unusual pleasure in punishment. He's strict and severe, and most of his officers know damn well not to act foolish while he's around. Anyone who does anything he believes will distrupt the order and ability of his troops is immediatly punished without so much as a thought or remorse or mercy. He is cold and hard, Dussander, but he runs an incredibly effecient army.

Dussander is also extremely protective and possessive about what is His. And he considers an awful lot of things his. This includes loved ones, his cadets, his territory, and any object he may happen to come across and take a liking to. He will defend that which is his with every fiber of his being, and is not afraid to kill someone in order to keep something he wants. Or get it, if that's the case. Mind you, he's not particularily nice to anything he has either. His favorite troops are treated with no more kindness than the rest of them. In fact, being his favorite is probably worse. He pays more attention to those few troops he's fond of and accepts even less fooling around from them.

Schadenfreude is a german word meaning 'taking pleasure in the misery of others', and Dussander certainly lives by that term. He delights in other's pain, but will very rarely allow himself to be the direct cause of another's pain. He likes to sit in the shadows and watch when he can. His malicious streak often causes him to lash out at people for the smallest, most trivial of reasons. Not because he's particularily angry, but because he jumps at the change to hurt others.

However, Dussander takes his job very seriously, and would never purposefully let anyone under his command (or protection) come to harm. His a merciless fighter and doesn't take prisoners unless they have something he wants. Negotiations are hard and violent with Dussander, and he doesn't balk or shy away from anything. He's incredibly creative with his...methods of torture as well. Dussander is very dutiful and will obey his superiors' commands almost to a fault. He's one of the best men they have, but he's worked bloody hard to get there. Probably so they'll turn a blind eye to the other aspects of his nature.
