We have had our fair share of animals over the years, ducks, geese, ponies, an in house rabbit, cats and probably more. Now that we moved back to the city, we are down to 2 dogs (Mini Schnauzers), 3 parrots, and five parakeets. The black and white visiter is an Australian sheep dog, about 70 lb. who is not mine !! Ralph is an Italian Greyhound, 17 lb., very sweet and shy.
The parrots are: Screech (Jenday Conure that is green, orange, gold, and blue), Coco, a Quaker
parrot (green, grey with a few blue tail and wing feathers). Quakers are vocal birds and illegal in some states because of damage a flock can do to a farmer's crop or annoying when they dive down and take a french fry from your hand on the beach!! Mine says about 75 words. The last parrot is a Green Cheeked Conure, Grey, green blue and red tail feathers. She is quiet, very loveable, says only a couple things, but loves to have her head and cheeks rubbed and always loveable. The beautiful cat is Eli, a female Scottish Fold. She is owned by Carol F. of Ohio.
