Stuff is happening. Ayup. The fan is turning back and forth. Kevin was doing a bit from a comedy sketch by some guy (possibly Mitch Hedberg) where the guy is talking to his oscillating fan, asking it questions a fan would say 'no' to, because it seems like the fan is shaking its head. Like,
"Do you keep my documents in order?"
"No."
"Do you preserve my carefully prepared hair styles?"
"No."
There is probably more, and I am probably mis-remembering what it is I have here. Oh, well. I just thought I would share.

I was listening to the score from Gladiator. But, now I have to turn it off, because the bass from the horns section is shaking Tyr's bed, across the room (it's not a very big room) and he's trying to sleep. It's one am, and he has class in the morning, uncomfortably close to times that involve single digits and no 'pm'. The point is, it's a good soundtrack. I encourage you to find someone who has it and make them let you listen to it / burn it / rip it.

I have been asking questions of Michael in hopes of upgrading my computer to something halfway respectable. It looks like it can be done. It also looks like its going to cost somewhere in the range of 300 simoleans. For bare minimum and before shipping. Thursday is payday, and I did work a lot over the break (paychecks are delayed two weeks, so this one should be the one from just before classes started). Which brings up another depressing thought. We have been in class for about two weeks now. Yuck.

I was playing Diablo 2 again for a little while. It was fun. I was playing a Hardcore druid whom I named SeanConnery. He died last night. I got surrounded by guys who blow up and I didn't drink that full rejuve fast enough. I was very disappointed. I don't think I'll play Diablo 2 for another little while. On the other hand, I tried playing Empire Earth multiplayer. I got my butt kicked twice, successively. I need to get some help on my playing style, because I am obviously not making a big enough army soon enough. And walls... walls are my friend. According to an old aquaintance (old in that I have not spoken to him in a while. As much as one can speak to another over the net. And I only knew him in passing anyway), Malachi, happiness is directly proportional to the length and the thickness of the wall betwixt you and your enemy. That was for a different game (Age of Empires), but I believe it applies here as well. I think I will attempt to put this into practice when next I play. And priests, of course. Lots of priests. AKA the gifts that keep on giving. And prophets are also yummy. Because they do wreak the terrible vengeance of the Lord upon the unbelievers.

Well, I suppose I should get some sleep before my horrendously full COMS 102 lecture so that I can arrive in time to get a seat and avoid sitting on the floor.
