Persuasive Essay on Endangered Species

I always like seeing animals but not many may exist bu the time I have children who have children and so on. Not enough people are cognizant about endangered species and which they are. People should know about them and do something about it too. some people call today aesthetically beautiful when there were more plants and animals the day before or that the cosmos could look even more exuberantly beautiful. If we cut down plants and kill animals we will never ever have enough nature. As Henry David Thoreau says, “We are enabled to apprehend at all what is sublime and noble only by the perpetual instilling and drenching of the reality that surrounds us. We can never have enough nature.”

Almost all the endangered species have become endangered because of something to do with their habitat. It would take forever to rebuild some of these habitats like the rain forest or the coral reefs. A lot of endangered species loose their home because of deforestation. Deforestation happens because humans make paper out of trees so they have to hewn the trees. Animals also loose their homes because people need more room to build their houses and menages, and because we are always changing things. More birds, squirrels, chipmunks, insects, some snakes, and some lizards loose their homes because of this than any other animals.

Another reason that there are endangered species is because people are innovating animals that are supposed to facilitate one thing but obliterates a different species. This action moves undeviating species to the endangered list because they are threatened by the new species that might try to kill them. Some exotic species can imperil to the life of autochthonal specie, which can lead to food competition, and maybe wipe one of the species of the face of the planet.

A third factor is over exploitation. This only happens to species depending on the rate that they are being hunted or requisited by the people who live in the world. What happens is that something really popular comes up like a elephant tusk is special and then everyone wants an elephant tusk. The elephants are hounded and killed so that the only elephants left are the ones in zoos. Those elephants in zoos don’t get harmed because they are under the protection of the zoo keeper who won’t let anything harm them like poachers. This specie that is being hunt down is aptly moved to the endangered list. Then the wildlife agencies come in and try to scant the species life. According to Wallace Stegner, “We are the most dangerous species of life on the planet, and every other species, even the earth itself, has cause to fear our power to exterminate. But we are also the only species which, when it chooses to do so, will go to great effort to save what it might destroy.”

Other agents are pollution, disease and limited distribution. Pollution causes the creature to get sick which can lead to disease, which could kill all of that species. If the species is not impregnable, that species will probably won’t live as long as the species, where the creatures can fend for themselves. There are more factors but these are just a few.

Fundamentally some species need saved forthwith and some don’t. Ways that you could help to save species that are either threatened or endangered, you could recycle paper to save trees, donate money to a wildlife protection area, donate a piece of land that you own to be preserved for animals, walk to work so that you can save gas which is pulled from under animals habitats which can make the animals sick and spread disease, or you can look in books or on the internet to find other ways. Endangered species should be saved so that you can see them when you conk out and so that humans can eat them.
