Johnny, Charlie, Miguel, Ricky, Rene y Ray, integrantes

The last few years have witnessed the reunion of some of the
biggest stars in music history: The Eagles, Kiss, Page-Plant and
Fleetwood Mac. Now the Hispanic market will have its turn with
the reunion of six of the original
members of MENUDO, the biggest pop phenomenon to ever come out of
the Latin World.
Summer of 1978, Menudo became the first Spanish speaking pop
music group to break the language barrier in the United States.
In New York City, Menudo's arrival in essence was compared to
that of the Beatles twenty years earlier. The group's popularity
grew at an incredible speed as they began to encompass all areas
of entertainment , with record breaking albums in English,
Spanish, Portuguese, Tagalog (Philippine) and Italian. At the
height of their popularity, Menudo had over 26 million records
sold, 12 Radio City Music Hall concerts sold out, stadium sell
out concerts all over the world, record breaking merchandising
sales and more.
Johnny Lozada, Ricky Melendez, Ray Reyes, Miguel Cancel, Charlie
Masso and Rene Farrait are coming together for the first time in
15 years to relive the Menudo phenomenon as THE REUNION ("El
Reencuentro"). This is not Menudo, as Menudo and the Menudo
concept still exist. This is THE REUNION. Six of the original
members of Menudo during the peak of their popularity when they
were breaking records worldwide. The international community
knows them individually by name, and grew up with their music.
Old fans and new anxiously await their return.
THE REUNION ("El Reencuentro") have recently released a
double-live album on Fonovisa Records, and their single
"Claridad" is currently enjoying airplay in the US and
around the world.
