James is the second member of the well-known Rocket trio. While Jessie usually takes command and Meowth thinks up most the plans, James might be called a 'whiner'. As far as brains go, James has lost out on his share, that part of the team goes to Meowth and Jessie. But what James lacks in brains, he makes up in cuteness! ^_^ James is just about the kawaiiest Rocket (human dat is. ^.~) He's also the nicest. Although Jessie and Meowth have their soft sides too,(however rare that may be for Jessie o.o), James probably has the biggest heart.
James had a hard past as well...
James came from a very wealthy family, one might think 'how lucky! go him!'...but, he hated it. His only true friend at the mansion was Growly, his faithful Growlithe. When he was just a little boy, James' parents had already picked out his bride-to-be. Jessiebell. This horrible girl was anything but nice. She wanted everything to be 'proper'. Even the silliest things /had/ to be proper...like, 'you have to RUN properly!'. As James liked doing things his way and wanted his freedom, Jessiebell drove him insane and tortured him. Not able to put up with it anymore, James ran away from home as a young child. He must've met up with Jessie soon after and the two ended up in Poke'tech school. And, of course they both flunked out with the lowest grades ever...but, in the words of Meowth, "At least you were the best of the worst..." ...which was true. ^_^;; Well, after the two flunked out of Poke'school they joined up with the bridge-bike gang and became 'Big Jess' and 'Little Jim'. James was called so as he was the only member of the gang...who still used his training wheels.^^;; But as time went on James moved on to bigger and better things: Team Rocket. Along with his best friend, Jessie, he joined up with the illustrious team probably with a dream much as Meowth's, 'to become rich and famous', his way. However, James and Jessie constantly messed up their missions and schemes, so to keep and eye on these two bumbling Rockets, Giovanni, the boss of Team Rocket, assigned his 'Top Cat', Meowth along with them. Ta-da, now we have a complete team. ^_^
...Yappa Yappa, that pretty much wraps up James's past and how he came to be who he is today, eh?
To me, James has always been my favorite human Rocket character and most likely always will. ^_^ Eh, Butch is ok...but he can't compare to James...(besides, I've /always/ liked Jessie, James & Meowth better then Butch & Cassidy...no offense to you B/C fans! They're kewl.^^)
