Jacob Bellett 1766 - 1813, born in England, died at Hobart wed 1791 to Ann Harper details unknown. He was tried in Middlesex 1788, given 7 years and came to Australia on the Scarborough 1788. He was one of the special prisoners chosen to go to Norfolk Island to grow food for the New South Wales settlement. Later went to Tasmania.
