To abide to the rules of the game as they apply to the field.

I will refrain from strong language while on the playing field and encourage others to do the same
I will always play the game in a spirit of sportsmanship.
Bringing to the attention of field owners any safety deficiencies by regularly walking my home field to identify any safety hazards and bring these to the attention of the field owner (consider doing this as a team every month). In particular I will note:-
Any dangerous structure or construction that could cause injury (unstable, sharp surfaces etc.)
Any objects that may cause injury (glass, wire, sharpened or split tree branches etc) Ill defined boundaries
Dangerous access tracks and public areas.
A comprehensive First Aid Kit being held at the field
Ensure proper safety instructions and procedures are outlined at the beginning of each social game.
Maintaining a team medical kit
I acknowledge that social teams are the future of the sport in New Zealand.
When playing in social games I will mix my team up so the sides are balanced and as an experienced player I will wear standout clothing and where possible a lesser paintball marker.
At pre-game I will spend time to introduce myself to the new players.
At pre-game I will spend time assisting the new players with their markers, discuss the rules with them, and outlining aspects of the field.
During the game I will take the time to acknowledge good play and skills
During a game where an obvious imbalance is occurring at the earliest opportunity the game should be halted and the teams mixed.
After game I will take time to discuss what areas went well for the new team and suggestions and tactics they could use in the future.
Where practical as an experienced player I will make my self available to train new teams
Wherever possible to attend and play in Tournaments
If attendance is not possible as a team I will: -
Attempt to form an ad hoc team to represent the region
Make myself available to assist with the organisation or umpiring of the event.
Offer to train and assist new tournament teams.
I will abide by the rules of the tournament
Please feel free to email any submissions, corrections or updates to me and I will attempt to verify and correct the information within the week.
