With - 30 degree celcius windchills, the Divas headed out on the town ... looking for fun in all the right places...

Of course, ice skating on the frozen Rideau Canal is a MUST-DO !
Certainly no trip is complete without a few hours of "power-shopping".

With our purchases in hand, we proudly walk back to our rooms for some drinks before another night out on the town. (Our hotel in the background
~ The Elgin ~ only the best for the Divas...)
But first, the Divas salute WINTERLUDE !

We got a good taste of nightlife in the nation's capital ...

On the Sunday night, all dressed up with no place to go... we left a quiet bar thinking the night was over and began to head home to our hotel. Stepping outside to face the crisp cold walk to the hotel, we stumble into into a group of guys from Halifax who were also looking for some fun on their last night in Ottawa. Before we knew it, we were huddled, arm over shoulder, and doin' some funky dance...

Seizing the moment, we all headed to the only club open on a Sunday night.
Hours of fun ensued... with some whacky behaviour by all involved....

the night pressed on with a snack/breakfast outing at a 24 hour deli, and drinks back at our hotel room...
Divas left their mark in Ottawa this year....

just ask this shoe salesman I bought shoes from at the mall... He saw us and immediately joined in the fun !
