Born in 2120 on Cait in the Tervaal Province. Second child in pack of 6. By age 10, she had learned how a basic sub-light engine operated and could pass an exam in piloting atmospheric craft. She studied Caitian engine design as often as she could throughout her schooling and entered G'narr University at the age of 19 to study Theoretical Propulsion as a major.

As she studied through college, she became more interested in warp travel and how it worked. Her 3rd year at the university, she decided to make her degree in Theoretical Propulsion a 6 year doctorate. When she was in her 5th year of the university, Cait broke the Warp 4 barrier with an engine she had a chance to observe briefly at her university. Although she never even touched the engine, she wanted to help build the next generation. After hearing that the Humans were working to break Warp 5, she decided that she had to get onto an inter-species exchange somehow after she graduated. In 2145 at 25 years old, she graduated from G'narr University with a Doctorate in Theoretical Propulsion. She started work with the Caitian Advanced Engineering Department almost immediately. She got lucky to get that job, but she still wanted to get to Earth to be a part of their Warp 5 testing project. After appointment, she went through military training that every member of the Caitian Defen se Force goes through. Since her job was research, and technically part of the Defense Force, she was automatically commissioned as an officer at the rank of Lieutenant.

Between 2146 and 2150, she worked on Caitian ships testing their Warp 4 engine and making various upgrades and add-ons. Through her work, she was promoted to Chief Lieutenant (equal to Starfleet Lieutenant Commander) and given charge of one of the teams. They were able to push it to Warp 4.6 before they joined the inter-species technology exchange started by the Denoblians in 2149. 3 Human Doctors of Engineering and 1 Denoblian Doctor of Physics were exchanged to the Caitian Engineering teams for 3 Caitians to Earth and 4 to Denoblia. M'eko was accepted for the exchange in 2150 about the same time Cait got their own Warp 5 engine to work, and was sent to Earth along with the 2 other Caitians and at least 4 Denoblians. The Caitian government and Starfleet agreed that the Caitian officers sent in exchange would have their ranks put aside and be addressed only as Doctor during their tours.

STARFLEET SERVICE:
From 2150 to 2153, she has been working at Starfleet in San Francisco with the Engineers there on upgrading the Warp 5 engine to Warp 6. Not much progress has been made thus far, but Starfleet felt that their exchange engineers could be better used in the NX fleet. So they assigned them out. M'eko got posted to the Meridian and is going through Starfleet's Academy to better acclimate to an Earth vessel.
