Helmsman
The Helm Officer is responsible for the actual piloting and navigation of the spacecraft. |

Boatswain Mate (Enlisted)
The enlisted assigned to ship's operations and often pilot's shuttle pods. Usually three to five per ship. |

Galley Mate (Enlisted)
Prepares three to four meals a day for the entire crew. Normally four to five aboard per ship. |
 |
Quartermaster (Enlisted)
Trains and supervises enlisted crewmen in a variety of procedures and operation. Normally two to three per ship. |

Yeoman (Enlisted)
The personal assistant of the Commanding Officer. |

 |
SCI Officer
The Science officer is one of the most important officers aboard the ship. Conduct everything from planetary scans to the study spatial phenomena and cataloguing the smallest particle to studying various life forms. |

Cartographers Mate (Enlisted)
Maps and charts known space. Will work closely with Helmsman and Sensor Systems Tech. Usually one to two per ship. |

Exobiologist's Mate (Enlisted)
Exobiology includes everything biological, not just intelligent races. In matters specific to exobiology, may assist Medical if required. One to two per ship. |

Geologist's Mate (Enlisted)
Will be well trained with specific knowledge of the geological sciences. Normally one to two per ship. |

Sensor Systems Tech (Enlisted)
Handles ship sensor pallets, telescopes and probes. One to two per ship. |

Xenoarcheologist's Mate (Enlisted)
Studies ancient alien artifacts and ruins. Will work closely with Communications officer. Not normally assigned to ships, one at the most per ship. |

COMM Officer
The duties of the Communications Officer include chief linguist on the ship, to make sure the crew heard every command, and to insure that all the systems in the ship are communicating with each other (sensors, etc). |

MED Officer
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for maintaining the health and safety of the officers on board the ship. |

Nurse
Commissioned Medical Officer that assists the Chief Medical Officer. |
 |
Corpsman (Enlisted)
Is both a paramedic and works to assist the Medical Officer in other minor procedures. Usually only one to two per ship. |

ENG Officer
The Engineering Officer keeps the ship together during crisis situations, and also known for problem solving tasks. |

Communications & Electronics Technician (Enlisted)
Deals with servicing and maintaining the ships communications equipment. Normally two to four per ship. |

Damage Control Man (Enlisted)
Controls Fires and repairs damage, does general maintenance when required. Normally five to six per ship. |

Engineman (Enlisted)
Handles Impulse rockets or engines. Usually three to four per ship. |

Hull Maintenance Tech (Enlisted)
Inspects, repairs and replaces hull plates and related polarization cells. Usually there are three to five per ship. |

Machinists Mate (Enlisted)
Manufactures parts and such for the ship using highly specialized equipment and tools. Normally two to three per ship. |

Warp Core Specialist (Enlisted)
Works strictly on the Warp Core. Usually one to two per ship. |

ARM Officer
Armory Officer is responsible for the security of the ship and all personnel therein. |
 |
Gunnery Mate (Enlisted)
Handles the ships weapons, both beam fire and torpedo. Normally three to five per ship. |

Master at Arms (Enlisted)
Handles ship's security operations and protocols and usually deploys on landing parties as the security presence. Normally three to five per ship. |
