Merivale United Church
Welcome to
Merivale United Church
of the United Church of Canada
          Nepean, Ontario, Canada

Governance
The United Church of Canada is a democratic institution. The day-to-day  business of the
church is
managed by the Merivale Council, which combines the temporal and spiritual
responsibilities
assigned to a Board of Trustees and a Session in many other congregations.

The congregation as a whole meets
annually to review the achievements of its member
bodies and meets on an ad-hoc basis when
important decisions must be made.

Joint concerns of the two congregations are under the purview of an Official Board.
