strategic military targets. B-17 Flying Fortress 'The Mighty Eighth'
grabs all the latest revolutionary 3D graphics technology to recreate
that period and let you take control.
You've got total control. Command one B-17 or a squadron of twelve in
full battle formation, look after 10 or 120 crewmen and jump into the
shoes of any one of them. Plan strategic missions based on
reconnaissance you have requested; fly in the escort planes or even the
Luftwaffe fighters who are trying to shoot the B-17s down! All the
action takes place in the most realistic and stunning 3D world ever
created, featuring jaw-dropping graphic detail that allows you to zoom
right down to ground level across the entire war zone of northern
Europe. Targets are not just distant blocks seen from 20,000 feet they
are fully viewable (zoom in and rotate around them) and will sustain
realistic damage depending on how accurately you bomb them.
And, if it's a B-17 flight sim you want B-17 Flying Fortress 'The Mighty
Eighth' has it all! All the switches, working instruments and levers
complete and fully functioning. If it's in the real bomber, it'll be
there. Taxi, take off, cruise, and land. Perform all pilot's checklist
duties, from adjusting the cowl flaps to increasing the manifold
pressure. But if you simply want pure shooting action you can man one of
the seven gun positions and the computer AI will take care of the rest!
