Things to REMEMBER when dealing with copyright:
~ Always assume everything
is copyrighted unless it is stated otherwise
~ Ask for permission to
use any material
~State your name and teaching position.
~Ask about the specific material that you want to use.
~Explain how you are going to use material if you are planing to make copies
(tell how many copies)
Fair Use Rules:
~ Teacher may make copy

~Poem of 250 words or less
~Up to 1,000 words or 10% of a long essay
~Single chart, graph, drawing, cartoon, or picture from a book, periodical,
or newspaper
