Free Satellite TV! Relax, Enjoy Yourself

Written by Randy Newman
Recorded by Randy Newman, from the rock-musical "Faust"

Relax, enjoy yourself
It's only a glorious game
There's fruit trees growin' in an open field
And wild roses bloomin' down a country lane

Look around, old chum
Slow it down, old chum
For you never will succeed
You never will succeed

Relax, enjoy yourself
It's all just a wonderful game
There are rivers and forests, and mountains high
There's the deep green ocean and the pale blue sky

Let it go, and then,
You will know, old friend
That you never will succeed
You never will succeed

According to a summary of Faust that I found, (available at Randy Newman Homepage -- Faust)
This song is sung by God to the Devil near the middle of the story.
The song goes on with an angel child singing to the Devil (I suspect this is the young-ally bit)
and then with the devil singing back to the angel. Unfortunately I can't find complete lyrics....
