I absorb this tranquil peace
as I breathe in the morning dew
the soft whispers of an angel
as my heart starts missing you

My eyes soon start to moisten
As my memory leads to you
To the times we spent together
how our life was so anew

And now I travel this distance
Without you by my side
Sometimes my heart is troubled
Without you as my guide

But I know that you are near me
A new life I now can see
You lift me from the darkness
Because your spirit lives in me
