The Saiyan Saga? Are you crazy? |

This is why this saga was so important:
This saga was important for just a few reasons but important ones:
First - This saga started with the first meeting of an off planet enemy since Garlic Jr. was there. But not just any enemy. This
enemy brought shocking news. "Kakkarott! I am your brother!" was the news to hear, but I am not evil brother dear!
Radditz then took his anger out on Goku, kidnapping Gohan away.
Second - Gohan's second strong showing of his hidden powers: Taking the air out of Radditz when all Goku and Piccollo had
done was scratch his suit. It took drastic measures to kill Radditz.
Third - Goku died for the first time, and recieved the Kaioken training from King Kai. More importantly however, he recieved
the Spirit Bomb / Genkidama from King Kai. The spirit bomb would do great things in the DBZ series, saving their butt many many times.
Fouth - We learnt that in DBZ great things were to happen. Earth was not alone in the universe, as the appearance of Piccollo
and Kame may show. ( Mr. Popo is a mystery to me ) Radditz, Nappa, and Vegeta were the first Saiyan's Earth had seen since Goku arrived.
Fifth - Last but not least Goku and the gang first set eyes on the Prince Of Saiyans, Prince Vegeta. This fellow not only will have
permanent effect on the series forever, he and Goku make up half the storyline in the show. Their rivalry and teamwork has spawned great things. Like
the mini-saga of Majin Vegeta, and the birth of the DBGT Bebi Vegeta saga. Their teamwork has done great things, the defeat of Metal Coola, the fusion
technique led to Gogeta and the fusion earrings the awesome Vegetto. Without Goku, Vegeta would never have had enough motivation to go SSJ. And
without Vegeta and Co. distracting Buu and the Evil Dragon, Goku would never had enough time to prepare the two greatest spirt bombs of the latter
two series.
This is why the Saiyan Saga was so important.
