Dr. Feynman taught me (through his books) that nothing is well understood
unless it can be easily explained in plain language to a receptive person.
As I learn new concepts, I try to master them to that point. And now I have
begun to set down in writing some ideas which might be of value to other
people.
Suggestions and criticism welcome.

I picked up
a great furniture repairing and refinishing book the other day. Unfortunately
for me, it was written in British English, not my native language. However,
I was soon able to compile a furniture finish
glossary which, besides making sense of many of the materials used in
furniture refinishing, also translates (for us colonists) to good old American
English.
I recently
completed a renovation of my good friend, the master bedroom flush toilet,
and now know more about toilets than I ever wanted to know.
