Ok, for those of you, who are not familiar with the German school system:
From grade 7 onwards the classes are sort of split into 2. One half of the class do their A-Level, called Gymnasium, and the other half their O-Level, called Realschule. The O-Level group go to another classroom for lessons like french, german, englich and math.
But the other subjects like history etc. are taught together.
